I made the reservation directly through Home2Suites Hilton Orlando Downtown. When I arrive to the hotel I was told that it was done through Expedia, and that it was very usual for the persons to enter directly to the web page of the hotel, made the reservation there, but really you are making the reservation through expedia.
This was in reference, that when we arrive around 8:00pm on a Sunday, we asked a place to park our car, and the front desk told us that the only place to park with them was accepting the valet parking that cost $40.00 extra per night. I explained that the information they were giving was not in the web page, and that is when the front desk told me that it was because when I reserve through the web page of the hotel, they resend to Expedia.
I told them that in the web page there was anything talking about that they do not gave space for parking, it only says that there are addtional charge if you use Valet Parking and that is an option.
After telling that, the guy said that I could park in the street but only until 6 am, and that it was a parking place, but that it was not near and that it was going to cost also. As a note it was raining and I am a handicap person.
So, I had to paid extra $40 for one night.
But, I felt like the hotel was robbing me, not explaining that they do not have a place to park the car, and that if you want to park your car in a place that belongs to the hotel you had to paid extra per night.
I am not going to return ever.
