The Hotel was under construction, which I received an email about the day of our stay, too late to cancel without a fee. They did do a very good job of keeping things clean in the main areas while construction was going on. We were made aware that the water would be turned off from 10 AM to 5 PM. So when we went to take our showers at 11 PM, there was no hot water. The hot water was turned on, but the showerhead was clogged up, probably with residue from the pipes being turned off. The manager, Michael, sent someone up to fix it. It was repaired while we were at breakfast. Unfortunately, my friend was already in the shower and soaked up when the water had stopped working from the showerhead. He said that he would put some points back in our account. I did not ask for a financial credit. That has been about three weeks ago and I have still not seen any points added back to our Marriott account. Although he was very nice, and seemed to be accommodating… It appears as though he may not have followed through with his commitment on the credit. It was definitely an inconvenience at the time, but not his fault.
