We were a little disappointed with our stay here.
The window in the room could not close properly. The curtains were filthy and stained. The bed head was stained with what looked like blood and other soils. The worst part was there was no lift. Thankfully we were one flight of stairs up and someone kindly brought the luggage to the room for us.
The parking on site was a bit problematic for us in that you are required to download an app. Sadly because I am from another country this app was not available to me on my cell phone l. I had already parked my car there thinking that i would just pay at the desk. We were informed by the staff that if we moved our car out of there we would be ticketed 100£. Keep in mind we had just parked our car there a few minutes before this.
The staff at the desk were friendly. There was a really kind lady I think her name was Pam who loaned me her personal umbrella. Very grateful for her kindness. The breakfast wasnt bad. They had traditional English breakfast offerings. Overall many of the employees were kind but the hotel itself needs much attention.
