I have stayed at Even Hotels in the past and enjoyed them very much. Not this time. The parking is ridiculously far from the hotel, checking in was a problem (no one was at the desk, I waited a long time, and then the person who finally came was incompetent), except for the nice gentleman who checked me out (10/21) the front desk staff was unhelpful and generally bordered on rude. The staffing at the "dining bar" was low, the ones who were working were slow and inefficient, and in a four day stay it would have been nice to have eaten at the hotel at least a few times. We opted for going out because of the poor service. One morning the line for ordering was such that we bypassed it altogether, drove 2.7 miles to a coffee shop, brought coffee and breakfast back to the hotel and people we recognized were STILL in line waiting. Unacceptable. This brand of the IHG lineup has lots of good features and I'm sure I'll try them again, but I'll look for something different on my next visit to the North Atlanta area. Disappointed.
