The staff at Home2 Suites were the highlight of my stay! The kitchen team is incredibly kind, and the front desk was honest and helpful throughout. I love that breakfast is included, though adding a cold brew option would be a great touch. I’d also recommend providing a list of local pet boarding/daycare options and clearer instructions for the dual hot water/coffee machines.
However, the experience at the connected Hilton was quite different. The atmosphere felt negative, and I found the front desk staff there to be judgmental and rude based on my attire. Additionally, their $15 pricing for a small margarita felt excessive, and they should ensure their "Happy Hour" signage is removed when it isn't active to avoid misleading guests.
Note for future guests: The parking situation is confusing. It isn't clear that you should pull off on the side street to check in and drop off luggage before moving your car to the parking ramp across the street. There needs to better signage to have clear directions.
