The room was is horrible shape - The room only had half of the curtains so we could not cover the window fully to sleep; the television did not work properly - only two channels would tune in, the telephone did not work so we could not call for assistance with the television, and the bathroom door strangely had a self-closing mechanism installed so when you entered the bathroom the door would hit you if you are not careful. When notifying the staff they offered no apology or solution except the change rooms with no guarantee another room would have similar problems. In fact, the front desk told me to hit the "red reset" button on the TV and she said occasionally guests could resolve the TV issue this way - after 10 minutes of wasting our time, we determined the TV had no such button. Clearly, the TV issue was pervasive and had not been addressed. Likewise, the icemaker was not working either we were told - come to find out it had even been removed from our floor so clearly maintaining the properly in any fashion was NOT a priority.
