Booked online, selected PAY AT PROPERTY. When I arrived to check in, receptionist said they couldnāt find my reservation at first. Then, when my mother asks about Nurseās Discount they say I booked through a 3rd party app, and they canāt touch it. THEN they tell me they tried charging my card right before 6pm and it declined (yes, because it was locked) and since it didnāt go through, that person cancelled my reservation without notifying me. Iām pretty sure that āPAY AT PROPERTYā that means Iāll pay when I check in, NOT for you to just charge my card without even verifying who I am! They took it upon themselves to charge a card that wasnāt even going to be used for the room, then tried to lie saying they didnāt see my reservation KNOWING it was cancelled hours before I got there! They could have called to see if I still needed the room, I could have paid over the phone OR went online via the app and paid for it. We had to search for another hotel after all of this. VERY upsetting! Will not book with this hotel again! That was VERY unprofessional and they had a very nasty attitude about it as well
