I recently stayed at Super 8 by Wyndham Fort Bragg and was pleasantly surprised. From the outside, it looks like an older motel, and I was concerned it might be dated or run down inside. Fortunately, that wasn't the case at all. The rooms were clean, cozy, updated, and very comfortable.
The room had everything I needed, including a safe, refrigerator, microwave, TV, and plenty of hot water. The beds were comfortable, the bedding was soft, and there were lots of fluffy pillows that made for a great night's sleep.
Max at check-in was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful. He made a great first impression. Unfortunately, my experience with the front desk staff the following day wasn't nearly as positive.
The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. The selection was extremely limited, with only a couple of cereals, milk, bread, jelly, and a toaster. There was no butter available. The fruit didn't look very fresh, and the pastry options were a croissant and a cold brownie bite. The coffee was good, although there wasn't much creamer available.
Despite the underwhelming breakfast, I would absolutely stay here again. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, and the overall value for the money was excellent. If you're looking for an affordable place to stay in Fort Bragg, this is a solid choice.
