Our experience at this property was extremely disappointing due to the unacceptable cleanliness of both rooms we were given. The first room was visibly unsanitary- the floor was sticky, and there were crumbs, dirt, hair, and general filth throughout. We reported this to the front desk and were given a key to another room. The staff member did not inspect the new room or verify that it was clean, and unfortunately, the second room was just as dirty as the first. Given the condition of both rooms, I contacted corporate immediately, as it was evident that cleanliness is not a priority at this location. After doing so, the manager emailed us with statements that were blatantly false. They claimed they had shown us the second room and that we confirmed it was satisfactory, neither of which happened. They also stated we waited several hours to raise our concerns, when in reality I notified the front desk within 15 minutes, and called corporate within 15 minutes of entering the second room. Not only was the property in unacceptable condition, but the manager chose to provide inaccurate information rather than address the issue professionally. I have escalated this matter again to corporate, though I am not confident any meaningful action will be taken. If you are looking for a clean, well-maintained room, I strongly recommend avoiding this property. We skipped the free breakfast, as we did not trust the food's cleanliness given the overall lack of sanitation observed at the motel.
