Check-in was smooth and the room was clean, but even though they advertise “right on the beach,” beach chairs and towels cost extra — despite the resort fee. On top of that, the sea water was a disappointing green, like algae. There were jet skis floating near the shore, and you could even see oil on the surface. As someone who loves the beach, this was really disappointing.
The worst part was the late checkout system. When I asked at the front desk, they told me to call at 6 a.m. on the morning of checkout to see if it was possible. So, on vacation, I had to set an alarm for 6 a.m. When I called, they told me to call back at 7. At 7, they finally said “OK” without hesitation. At noon checkout time, many other guests were checking out too.
The restaurant staff were very friendly and attentive while serving, but if it wasn’t their table, or if you saw them in the hallway, they completely ignored you — like they were different people.
