The positives: the place was very clean inside. The staff that worked there were friendly enough. The morning breakfast actually included biscuits, gravy, and sausage patties, and wasn’t just the usual carbs only sort of breakfast.
The negatives: the absolute worst part of the stay was the bed. It felt like sleeping on a padded rock. If it had only been for one night, it still would’ve been a bad bed, But one night you can live with. The second night was just terrible. There’s no other way to put it. I woke up about 5:15 and decided since I was just gonna be going home after having stayed late for a convention, I just got up and I left 3 1/2 hours earlier than I anticipated.
The price seemed OK and overall the room itself, though rather dated, was clean. The hotel itself smelled clean. It was really just that the bed was terrible. If the couch that was in the room had been even partially comfortable, I would’ve just slept on the couch. But the couch was also a rather Rundown Thing that was not comfortable to lay on.
I would not recommend this place to anyone. Outside it looks kind of rundown. The parking lot asphalt is messed up in different points. The light on the sign is even about half lit. I wish I had just bit the bullet and spent another 20 or $25 and gone down the street to a different hotel.
Would not recommend to anyone.
