Beautiful property and great food. The ability to go between resorts blanco and rose to swim at the beach was a nice touch. However, the service does not match the price point. I’ve stayed at other 5-star all-inclusive resorts where service truly elevates the experience, and that wasn’t the case.
At check-in, the room we were given had not been cleaned. When I called the front desk to resolve it, the operator transferred me, I waited on hold for a long time, and then the call was disconnected. This forced us to travel back to the lobby with all our luggage, this was no small task given the size of the property and reliance on golf carts to get across. We were eventually moved and offered a $50 credit.
There were also service inconsistencies during dining. At the Market, we were seated in the same server’s section twice. First, briefly to watch the end of a game, then again about an hour later for dinner. Despite us being seated with food for over 30 minutes, the server never approached us for drinks, even while repeatedly passing our table. We had to flag him down.
Also, when I called about late checkout and was simply confirming details, the agent cut me off mid-sentence with “It’s a pleasure,” and hung up.
Lastly, the all-inclusive package does not cover every menu item or restaurant.
