We stayed for one night during my kids’ event. The hotel looks newly updated, and feels modern & well-maintained. The front desk staff were attentive & professional, which we appreciated.
However, our stay coincided with multiple youth events, and the hotel was packed. The lobby & hallways were very noisy & crowded, and since we were assigned a first-floor room, the noise from kids & teens carried into the corridor late into the evening.
For a Marriott, I expected more amenities. There’s no complimentary breakfast despite the higher price point, and breakfast doesn’t start until after 7 AM—earlier hours (around 6 AM) would be much more helpful for guests with early events. There’s also only one small shared microwave near the ATM. While I’m glad there is one available, it wasn’t very clean, which was disappointing.
We didn’t receive the room we booked. I reserved a king with sofa bed, but the room had no sofa bed. We were given an inflatable bed instead. This was frustrating, especially since we booked that setup for comfort before an important event. The inflatable bed made it harder to get a good night’s rest.
The location is somewhat isolated—food options are about a 10-minute drive, and delivery services come with higher fees due to distance, so we ended up picking up food ourselves.
Overall, the hotel is clean & updated with good service, but noise levels, limited amenities, and the room issue made the stay less comfortable than expected.
