This resort could be amazing, but instead it’s run down with almost no customer service. Midnight arrival? Our confirmed baby bed was missing, then delivered soiled/ dirty and unusable. Rooms were dusty, bunk beds battered, walls thin, luggage rack was broken.
Breakfast staff were rude when we arrived 10 mins before closing (due to our late arrival), even refusing coffee. Snorkel rentals were inconsistently enforced, newsletters had wrong info, and kids’ fish-feeding excursions were poorly managed. Pool towels were rationed like gold, the pool was dirty, and the water park closed after one day. Moko Kids Club? Staff on their phones while kids ran wild.
Ants invaded our room; staff spraying while kids were present made it worse. Staff finally moved us to a cleaner room—thankfully. Check-out at 10 AM is unforgiving, and most front desk staff seemed to hate their jobs. One manager, Laura (or Louise), stood out as genuinely helpful—hire more like her!
The Lagoonarium is beautiful, and the location is prime, but this resort wastes both. Poor maintenance, rude service, and zero care for guests. Would not stay again.
