I stayed at the Palms from 7/25 to 7/27, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing from the start. Upon arrival, I was charged an additional fee for checking in earlyāwhich was frustrating but manageable. However, things quickly worsened when I entered the room and discovered the air conditioner wasnāt working.
When I went to use the bathroom, I found that the toilet wouldnāt flush and was on the verge of overflowing. I called the front desk to report the issues but didnāt feel a sense of urgency from the staff. After receiving no meaningful response, I called again to emphasize that I was both overheating in the room and unable to use the bathroom properly. I asked if I could switch rooms, but that option was never offered.
Instead, they sent a technician, Juan, who was incredibly helpful and professional. He discovered the A/C filter hadnāt been changed in quite some time and resolved both the air and toilet issues. I really appreciated his assistance, as no one else from the hotel followed up or checked in afterward.
Additionally, the bed was extremely firm and could use extra cushioning. On my final night, I also noticed several roaches in the bathroomāprompting concerns about cleanliness and pest control.
Overall, I was deeply disappointed in my stay and expected a much higher level of comfort and service.
