I usually don’t leave reviews, but I felt I needed to share this experience. I booked a room and bought tickets for my mom’s birthday so she could watch her favorite group perform. We were really looking forward to a special and memorable night.
At check-in, the staff was friendly and helpful, which we appreciated. However, once we got to our room, it was extremely cold. We tried turning on the heater, but it wasn’t working. We called the front desk and were told someone would come up to check it. After waiting over an hour with no one showing up, I had to walk down to the front desk again to follow up. Shortly after, someone finally came to inspect it and told us it needed to be fixed. We were then moved to another room.
Unfortunately, the second room was even worse. It was dirty, and there was dried vomit on the side of the bed that had been covered with a towel. The heater in that room was also very loud and made it impossible for my family to get any sleep.
What was supposed to be a special birthday celebration turned into a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience. I hope the hotel takes cleanliness and maintenance more seriously so other families don’t go through the same situation.
