We had a Bryant Park-facing corner room for our 4-night stay. Prepare yourself for lots of noise so if you’re not a deep sleeper, maybe pick another room. Our side of the building was covered in scaffolding which accommodated some 4-6am power washing whilst the grounds crew across the street worked through the night, with the incessant beep-beep-beeping of their equipment. But to top it off was the 20-minutes-long car horn battle betwixt 2 a$$holes from 3:10-3:30am. Not the fault of the hotel but certainly diminishes the overall experience.
The hotel itself is excellent sans our bathroom view of warped plywood, dirty buckets & rope. Maybe put some faux shrubs out there to disguise it? Times Square 10-min walk, theater district 10-min walk. Subway station across the street. Ave of the Americas is the cross street. Quick walk to Park Ave, Madison, Lexington. Hotel staff is 5 star. Koi restaurant onsite delicious sushi. The gym, though, is a small box with a Peloton bike, lifecycle tread & elliptical, very few weights. Know that you get charged a thirty dollar facility fee/day. Several grab & go bakeries/restaurants (Pret a Manger, La Pain Quotidien) ring the park.
