So many things wrong on this stay.
1st- hotels.com said my price would be $80. Hotel had sign saying all credit card transactions included 3% surcharge. Actual cost was $81+
- Got to room. TV not working. Called front desk mgr who said repairman would be sent. Called again 20 minutes later with no repair. Repairman on way. Another 20 minutes and asked to be moved to room with working tv. Told repairman was 10 minutes away. It was more than 45 minutes for simple fix that took less than 5 minutes.
-Below freezing outside. Fan cranking away but room not getting warm. Checked HVAC. It was set on AC instead of heat.
- Went to take shower. Water flowed but shower wouldn’t turn on.
- Getting in bed, covers were sheet, sheet, thin blanket. It was warm enough but not comfortable with blanket next to skin.
- Had asked for 7 am wakeup. Never got any call.
- Went for breakfast. All warm food trays empty. Man sitting at table said they were preparing more. Juice machine had old “Out of order” sign. There was empty orange juice container in tray but no refill. Coffee available through plastic carafe, but nearly empty. Cereal was available but no milk in dispenser. Bread available for toast but no butter or jelly. Food finally showed up – watery scrambled eggs, pancakes.Had to wait for plates. One guest was taking sausage links from pan by hand and eating as he filled plate. No syrup or butter.
It was a miserable stay.
