Our disappointing stay
First of all, we were not made aware the hotel was in the throws of refurbishing the facility until we arrived. Every day there was another issue, starting with no heat or air in our room and ending up with no ice for us to take up to our room. The phone in our room did not work, we had no glasses in our room and we were advised if we wanted our room tidied up, we had to plan ahead and request maid service the day before. Other issues included us paying a nightly visits the font desk nightly. The staff really was trying to help all of us; however, no coffee in the morning dining area was a large problem and some of us joked we should have gone to Fred Meyer and bought the hotel a coffee machine. That night, we wanted ice but the one working ice machine wasn’t working. If it hadn’t been so frustrating, it was almost funny!
We have stayed at the Ramada several times in recent years, with no issues. However, this visit was less than good. Had we known they were in the middle of refurbishing the hotel, we would have at least asked questions prior to securing a reservation.
