The room was terrible it was not worth it at all. There was smell in the room. I hate it. I will need recommend thos hotel.
We had a lovely stay - we had no issues with a shared bathroom and were pleasantly surprised at how quiet the property is in spite of the construction going on. The security on the property is very good as well.
Love the price for a New Year's getaway. One thing to improve is the elevator signage. It states to press the "G" button for the Lobby. There is no "G" button, there is an "L" button. A few of us were challenged on how to ride the elevator to check-out.
Like the central location and clean, comfy bed. Did NOT LIKE checking in and having a police takedown of a customer in progress, as we checked in. Police had assault rifle poised and ready, we had no idea if we might be in a line of fire. It was TERRIFYING. I feel traumatized.
Staff was super helpful! Great location, very central
My girlfriend and I found this hotel really disappointing. We knew it was one of the cheaper hotels but for 192 bucks for 1 night we figured it would be at least cozy and welcoming. The hotel room was not comfortable at all and the sheets were dirty. The toilet didnt flush properly and it was an old dated room. I have stayed in rooms for far cheaper in Vancouver and much more comfortable and welcoming. If you are just looking for location alone then this is a good spot close to Rogers arena. But other than that its not nice at all for the price. I aslo found the underground parkade frustrating with all the construction going on. The underground parking had trucks blocking it and wasnt marked well to know it was for the YWCA. The noise of Construction and weird noises in the room didnt allow us to sleep in at all. Unless you find a far cheaper room rate here I wouldn't recommend.
Great hotel, great location, great service, great staff, great price. Will choose the same hotel next time I travel to Vancouver.
The location was central and within walking distance to everything we wanted to explore.
The bed is ridiculously small, didn’t know I have to share a bathroom with other people, at least I paid $143 for this. Even worse than a two star hotel. Worst hotel I ever stayed in.
The fact that the Y Hotel is a social enterprise - and that the hotel is in a very central location are the main reasons for my staying at the Y.
