The toilet seat had obviously been replaced with a seat that was the wrong size for the toilet. So, when you sit on it, your thighs touch the porcelain. (Gross and cold). The handle seemed to be loose so you had to pay attention to it to get everything to go down. The shower faucet (like so many hotes) didn’t completely switch from tub to shower, even with significant effort, so that water sprayed through the faucet into the tub and impacted the pressure in the shower head. The towels were arranged in a way that did not make sense at all. The hand towels and wash cloths were outside the bathroom near the sink, but the bath towels were nowhere to be found. I grabbed a hand towel to ensure I had something at least, then stepped into the shower only to find the bath towels tucked away inside the shower such that they were invisible from outside the shower. I am noticing that this is a trend in some modern hotels, but I’ll never be okay with it.
There was a closet directly across from the bathroom that contained an ironing board, iron, extra blanket, and hangers. The door was a mirror from which the plastic packaging was never removed. It had apparently been up for a while, as you could tell from the wear pattern, the plastic was starting to come loose from use, which cheapened the feel of the room.
