Check-in was easy and the staff were friendly. Parking was convenient with indoor access to the parkade, and the location on Whyte Ave is excellent.
However, shortly after checking into the room, my son began sneezing and within about 10 minutes started wheezing. I was also sneezing. We were only in the room for about 15 minutes before leaving for previously planned activities, and once we left the room, all symptoms went away.
We were gone for approximately five hours, and the moment we returned to the room, the same symptoms started again for everyone. While the room itself appeared clean, there was a noticeable “dusty” feeling in the air—almost something you could taste.
Due to the reaction, we decided not to stay the night and checked out. It was disappointing given the otherwise positive first impression and great location.
