Only giving the 2 stars because of the great central location. First off, I didn’t get the room I had chosen when booking. I was suppose to get 2 queen beds. Thank goodness it was just me and my daughter and my other guest decided last minute not to go because we only got 1 queen bed! When I confronted the girl at the front desk, she said there was nothing she could do and it must have been an issue with Expedia, I could pay extra to upgrade the room but they didn’t have any rooms available. 2nd there must’ve been some drunk young adults under the hotel in the garage at about 1am acting fools. A bear came walking through and they was hollering and cussing for at least 30 mins. I called front desk and the girl was too afraid to say anything to the people. After hearing the remark, ‘come suck my d*ck’ I ended up calling gatlinburg pd to come drive through. 3rd fail: the toilet would not flush! Called for maintenance one morning to no one available. I left a note on the toilet for housekeeping before leaving for the day, came back at 10pm to find housekeeping never came. Called front desk 4x to no answer, ended up walking to front desk to find the girl chatting it up with another male. Told me maintenance has already left and all she could do was swap us rooms or I could take the plunger myself. Being exhausted as I was, I took the plunger and fixed it myself. The overall look of the room was fine, but the hotel as a whole was sketchy.
