Disappointing is the one-word summary… I will however go into detail.
I’m guessing that the name millennium comes from the last time the rooms were refreshed.
The ‘office’ chair that was in the room was very threadbare, this wasn’t the biggest problem with the chair, if I put the chair behind the desk there isn’t enough space to move around the bed.
While on the subject of space, the toilet is so close to the wall, where the toilet roll holder was mounted meant that you couldn’t sit square on the seat.
The shower was a mixer tap setup over the bath, I can’t remember the last time I saw this in a hotel.
One positive was the bed was comfortable with a good selection of pillows. However, I was woken early every day as the sun streamed around the curtains, not much point in having blackout curtains if they don’t fit the window.
The lift buttons are held together with cable ties, another sign of poor / incorrect maintenance.
I can’t give a full review of the breakfast because after looking at the offerings I decided to eat elsewhere. Also not helped by the fact that the pancake machine was broken.
