The property is a vintage mid-mod ski chalet in a prime location next to the Gondola in the heart of the ski resort.
The main lobby was nicely set up with privacy pods that backed a loungy area around a stone fireplace and opened onto a nice, sunny deck overlooking the pool courtyard.
It was very quiet since it was off-season but very cozy, clean, and comfortable. The room, elevators, and hallways were small and the bathrooms could use a renovation. There didn't seem to be any connectivity to the TV in the room. Just basic cable. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
The restaurant was a really great gathering space with really good food and the staff was friendly and attentive regardless of how busy it was or the time of day. They were open in the morning and evening but not for lunch though, however there was a lovely market a short walk away that served lunch and had a great selection of curated grocery items, and a small wine shop.
It was a short- easy drive into town where there was a TON of great shops and good restaurants! The whole town was so charming and everyone we met was authentically friendly.
It was announced in the news while we were staying there the property had been purchased by the resort. I hope that means more money for upgrades without sacrificing the charm and accessibility of this place.
Overall it was a really great value and I would highly recommend it for a cozy fall weekend!
