I was charged for May 24 at a hotel in Kansas City, but I had cancelled that reservation over 27 hours before check-in and had until 6 p.m. on May 24 to cancel without being charged. It took too many calls and emails with Hotels.com and other agencies until Hotels finally refunded the improper charge. I will be very hesitant to book with Hotels.com in the future.
