We booked 2 doubles in advance, and left our luggage around noon until 8:30 pm after went to cruise in navy pier and walking to 360. We tried to call hotel at least three times for informing the front desk that we might check in later around 8-9 pm, but no one answered the phone. We thought that our booking on hotels.com was guaranteed ( plus I called a few day before to hotel and confirmed my reservation). When we arrived at around 8 pm, was told that the room with double beds were sold out ! Now only has a king bed with added roll over bed. We are two adult women, and can’t share a king bed, and the rollover bed was not comfortable at all. The manager who gave us next morning breakfast after we asked for it. Unfortunately, the breakfast was the most simple breakfast we had ever had. Moreover, after we were in the one king room, I checked Hotels.com web, there were still 2 doubles and Queens available. We stayed at #2322, one king bed with a roll out twin bed. I need to ask a refund or some kind compensation and will call Hotels.com.
