T he staff at the Inn at Peach Street were friendly and welcoming during my stay, which I appreciated. It appears the property is currently undergoing renovations, so the rooms may improve once the updates are completed.
However, my room felt quite worn and not very clean overall. The upholstered chairs had visible stains, which made them uncomfortable to use. While the bathroom seemed to have been updated more recently and was in better condition than the rest of the room, the main living area clearly needs attention.
There were also some maintenance issues. Part of the carpet near the door had been removed, leaving about a two-inch gap where the flooring was exposed. Additionally, although the TV had DIRECTV, I was unable to get local channels and the available channel selection was very limited.
One factor that the hotel may not fully control but still affected my stay was the noise outside. My room faced the street, and throughout the night there were people yelling outside. The noise continued on and off until around 6 AM, which made it difficult to sleep.
Overall, while the staff were pleasant and it looks like renovations are underway, the current condition of the room and the noise made the stay less comfortable than expected.
