The hotel itself is very pretty but our experience met no standards! This is everything my sig other and I noticed about our stay at the Claridge. When we arrived, the parking was confusing, there’s a large sign that says turn here for Claridge self parking, we turned and there was no where to go so we had to turn around and I found the front desk to ask where we park, there are 2 streets, where the sign is- that’s not the correct street, it’s down a block. When we got to the room (King Whirlpool room 2050) first during the entire duration of our stay- one of the elevators were always out of use and broken. Anyway when we got to the room, we initially thought it was very nice but then we started looking around… there was a broken, fake, press on nail in our shower, white stains on our black, decorative, bed spread (I truly don’t want to believe what we both thought it was!). There was MOLD in our fridge and when we opened it, it absolutely reeked! It was so bad it made both of us nauseous! And I'm not just talking about the white or green fuzzy stuff.. no I’m talking layered BLACK MOLD. 100% health hazard and huge liability!! Half of the outlets in our room did not work. The lock on our door was broken so we only could rely on the keycard lock and the one screwed into the wall. Housekeeping never came the entire duration of our stay which we both thought was extremely odd. List goes on but im almost out of characters. Overall- we would NOT STAY again by any means!!!
