Unfortunately I had higher expectations for this hotel based on the descriptions on the booking site and the reviews. My room window was facing a wall and a flight of stairs. It was quite noisy as I could hear other guests in their rooms, and as the room was right next to the breakfast room, it was loud also in the morning and difficult to sleep.
The breakfast was OK but the espresso machine was broken and the filter coffee did not taste good and was weak (made an instant coffee instead which is not great). The egg dish was tasty. Around 9am many items had run out and some were stale as it's rather hot in the room.
The service was friendly upon check-in. The man serving at breakfast wasn't very welcoming. Upon checkout, the front desk called my room at 12:04, saying they were "waiting for me".
