On-line app checkin is a joke. Just didn't work. When I got there the night desk person required my credit card again for a security deposit. I told her I already had a card on file, but that wasn't good enough. I tried to tap then chip read the card I used, but that failed. For security, my business card has no numbers printed on it, and the desk agent wouldn't accept it. I had to give her another card with visible numbers, which she couldn't read anyway. And she manually entered the number. Now, I'm concerned there was a manual copy made of my card number and it's out in the wild. So now I have to monitor my bank account for fraud.
The room was clean and quiet, but very average. The problem is, I regularly pay 30-50% less than this rate for similar rooms, so this was NOT a good price or value. Breakfast also was average, not great, barely adequate. Soggy limp bacon, dry eggs, etc.
