The breakfast was fresh and restocked routinely throughout the morning. The staff is unbelievably nice. The hotel smells like a home, not like a hotel. The balcony had a beautiful view and felt private although it is shared with a partition. During the happy hour, we met some nice strangers, Brian the bartender was patient and accommodating - oh and the hor d'oeuvres was delicious - pulled pork with fixings plus other bits and bobs like salad and soup. Alexis helped us get checked in and she had to have been the happiest, nicest, most welcoming front desk extraordinaire I've met in recent travels. She made me and my husband and our two dogs feel SO welcomed. Parking is $23 and worth every penny - the in/ out privileges was worth its weight in gold.
