We booked based on the many excellent reviews but realized that they were not accurate! The safe was unusable because they couldn’t open to factory setting (they were locked out), the hot tub wasn’t working for 2 days upon arrival without notice, the kitchen was not properly equipped, lacking basic utensils like a can opener, cups, cutting knife or sponge, bugs crawling on the counter & in my food, terrible smell/odour coming from the dishwasher into the room, dirty rusty cabinets & the lever on the shower was missing a screw, so it kept falling off on our feet & it was heavy, also you had to push the lever in with extreme force to turn the water on, the walkways & pavement around the pool areas were cracked and unsafe & there was major construction next door with noises & equipment parked in front of the hotel, parking lot was full of potholes filled with water, there wasn’t a manager to assist or speak to except for the 2nd day & it was his last day working at red roof & with the holidays, there wasn’t a manager onsite for days. Hotels.com requested assistance on our behalf multiple times & they were unresponsive. Grace was pleasant, Stefan was not friendly & failed to follow up with providing us with missing items in the kitchen- he offered us another room that was worse than the one we had & said they have other room with 1 king, we are 4 adults (insulting!) Holidays are for relaxing but this place was frustrating- the only decent thing was the location & the beds.
