Hotel bem localizado Funcionários prestativos, educados.
AVOID AT ALL COST! Horrible experience in this hotel. Reserved a queen's bed room for two guests which was unbelievably small even for one person with a bed which was more like a full size bed rather than a queen. I asked for a bigger room and I was told it will be the same price however an extra 20$ charge was added later for the larger room. The parking is not free (15$ per car per night) and its across the street and there is no assigned spot or system of parking. Its first come, first serve even if you paid already for a spot you might have to look for an empty spot. Everything is historic, including the elevator (basically not usable unless you are willing to wait 15 minutes each time) and room equipment such as the iron (left a stain on my shirt). Pillows are horrible. Out of 5 lamps in the room only 2 were working.
I love that the hotel is conveniently located in downtown and is walking distance to everything. For that reason I would consider staying here in the future. The hotel itself was nice and comfortable. A bit older but you couldn’t tell except for the small and slow elevator which gave the hotel character and was the last bit left from the original. The issue is the parking. Very limited parking and they charge you $15 a day. We had taken a trip down to Camarillo outlets and when we got back the parking lot was full that we had to park our car on the street. I kept calling the hotel and I couldn’t get through, I was on the phone for 10 min trying and nothing. That would be my only issue is if a hotel is charging me for parking, I’d like to make sure there is ample parking spaces for me to park.
Many places in walking distance. Good food selections.
The room was very clean and quiet. The staff was great and location was awesome as well.
This is the only hotel I have ever stayed in that I would not recommend. The good: -Located right in the middle of downtown. -There is a Starbucks attached to the hotel. -The room stayed relatively quiet for being downtown. -Inexpensive for the location. The Bad: -They charge you 15/night for parking, but they never tell you. A random room charge just shows up a day or two after checking out (it is also an off-site parking lot). -The windows do not open. This makes the room feel very stuffy and not very clean during this COVID era. -There is no shower door. Water just goes all over the bathroom so you can expect to stand in puddles when you need to use the bathroom after showering. -Our bed was sunk in before we ever even laid down, not a big deal for us but I know it would bother some. -Bring your own pillow. Never in my life had I used such an awful pillow. -The room is very small and has a computer monitor sized TV, also not a big deal for us but worth noting. -We prefer stairs anyways but I don't think they have ever updated the elevator, you'd have to see it for yourself but it gives off tower of terror vibes. If you're coming for a good time with friends or family I would stay somewhere else. If you're coming for a one night stop on the way to somewhere else and just need a place to sleep and you have your own pillow, this probably isn't too bad of an option.
Well-maintained and charming 1926 hotel! The décor and details honor the hotel's history very well. Plus, the old town area out its front door is the perfect place to wander around for dinner, lunch, breakfast and some shopping. Of course, COVID-19 is currently impacting the area. Regardless, we loved our stay! (Parking is a bit funky, though.)
Good and comfy room. Good for the price. I highly recommended
I had a problem with WIFI password. I call for help, but could not solve the issue. This was a problem, but everything else was very nice.
It was a nice stay. Room was a lot smaller than expected, room service restaurant was okay. The "city view" is a lie, we had a view of the inside of that U. But the location is great, and the service was good.
