I booked AND PAID for a two night stay (Friday & Saturday) through Hotels.com where it clearly states that I can check in at any time after 3PM. After a long 4.5 hour turned 6 hour drive into Christiansburg due to a blizzard, I arrived around 3:30 AM early Saturday morning, just to be told my reservation had been canceled. Apparently paid for or not, if you haven’t checked in by 3AM they can cancel your room. I’ve NEVER had this happen before.
I was told to contact the manager about a refund, and ended up having to book again. It’s about 4AM when we make it to our newly booked King “suite”, where we find the bathroom sink doesn’t drain. So I call down and get a new room. This one had one 1 towel, 1 washcloth & no desk chair. But it was clean and the heat worked, so we made it work.
Trying to get a hold of the manager that apparently only works 2hrs M-F was a joke, so I gave up on trying to get my money back!
