Poor customer service & hotel run down
We arrived late in the night and just wanted to get in and go to bed. The air conditioner barely worked so we were warm through the night. When we woke up the next morning we expected a coffee station near the lobby and were informed there was not. We needed to use the coffee pot in our room. We went back up to make coffee and the pot was not working. Called the front desk and the young girl at the desk by the name of Easter said she would send a new pot. After 20 min we did not receive a new pot so we called and again Easter picked up the phone and said (with an attitude) i am working on getting you a new pot and hung up. A few minutes later Easter called back and asked us to check the plug to make sure it didnt need to be reset. We explained we already tried that she again hung up on us. I returned the call and asked her if there was a problem as she continued to hang up on us and why her attitude was so unprofessional and she replied that she did not have an attitude. Finally housekeeping showed up with a new pot and we tried the same plug and it did not work. We tried a completely different outlet and it worked. The ladies apologized for the inconvenience and were very pleasant. Now back to the room. This hotel was very run down. There were cracks in the wall and carpet was worn out. There were only 2 coffee cups(and 1 was dirty) there was no glassware and the silverware was dirty. The tub would not drain properly. No dish towels.
