Outside looks like an abandoned home grass overgrown two Pitbulls in the yard and then there's six puppies on the side. The gate in the back is falling down strange man standing in the door with a robe on you. Enter the back with a code that they don't send until late afternoon. It's just an unpleasant place. Do not go there.

Clean excellent room with holistic music; all handled with a security code, NOT a hotel . Can reach local bus from Amtrak . Close to San Pablo/30th st. Good value for overnight stay.

The room was lovely, host was nice and communicative, and the house was very beautiful. Keep in mind if you are booking here it is an Airbnb, and the room is located in the owners household. There is a full kitchen and bathroom, with clear directions on what to use, and what not to use. There are several pitbulls on the property, but they are nice. Wonderful stay, i would definitely recommend it!

The people were so rude. I got a confirmation number but when I showed up, the people wouldn't let me in. They said they should have the rent of the room out and I said how can you rent the room when I have a confirmation number they were rude. It was ridiculous and we couldn't go into the room so we just left but how do they give our reservation away?

Unfortunately, I had a very poor experience at Dream catcher and would not recommend it. My travel companion and I booked a non-refundable room, otherwise, we wouldn't have stayed at all. Our two biggest concerns were 1) the property was not as described on Hotels.com, and 2) there was an incident with one of the dogs at the property. We found the house to be messy and smelled like wet dog. The owner/manager was not welcoming and friendly (we arrived late, and I said hello when I saw him in the hallway, but he didn't acknowledge me). The bedroom and the bed were dusty, as if they were prepared awhile back. The kitchen was messy with bottles, paper towels, and laptops on the counter. The bathroom was crowded with many products, and the shower and sink showed signs of use. It felt like staying at someone's house who hadn't prepared to host guests. This property had five dogs on it, yet that is not mentioned in the description before booking. Only two dogs are mentioned in the confirmation email sent after the booking. Sometimes the dogs were behind baby gates, but otherwise were free in the house and yard. My travel companion passed the owner and some of the dogs in the hallway, and one nipped at her shorts and her leg, which scared her. The owner apologized but took no further action to remedy the situation. We arrived late and left first thing the next morning and requested a refund, but were denied.

This was one of the worst travel experiences I've ever had. The listing was misleading and did not match what was advertised. What I expected to be a hotel turned out to be a shared residence, and the overall experience felt nothing like what was represented on Expedia. The owner was rude, hostile, and intimidating. Instead of being welcoming or helpful, I felt threatened by the way I was spoken to. Customer service was nonexistent, and there was no attempt to resolve the issues or make things right. I left feeling completely ripped off. The property did not provide the experience I paid for, and I would never stay here again. Unfortunately, Expedia was no help either. Despite explaining the problems, I felt they failed to stand behind the listing or protect their customer. After reading other recent reviews, it appears that many guests have reported similar concerns about rude interactions with the host, misleading expectations, and poor customer service. Save yourself the frustration, stress, and wasted money. I cannot recommend this property to anyone, and I will think twice before booking through Expedia again after the way this situation was handled.

This property is a complete misrepresentation—don’t be misled by the photos. I booked a one-night stay (March 22) through Travelocity, where it was advertised as a hotel with included parking. Upon arriving at 10:30 PM, the owner flatly refused to honor the reservation, claimed it was an Airbnb, and stated he “didn’t care” about the booking. He then demanded I move my car from the driveway, only to inform me that parking would cost an additional $25—directly contradicting the listing. After complying and parking on the street, I was left waiting outside in the cold for over 20 minutes while his pit bulls barked aggressively. When a room was finally provided, it was in unsanitary condition and had a strong, unpleasant odor. Throughout the interaction, the owner was arrogant, hostile, and belligerent, with behavior that felt threatening. Given the circumstances, I chose not to stay.

Unfortunately hotels.com couldn’t cancel the reservation and I was forced to stay ina dirty room which I had to clean for breathing was difficult for the amount of dust and the wet dog smellzm.he floor was so nasty. I also had to clean it. I informed the owner or manager or owner and I was ignored. An apology would have been nice. I don’t recommend this place unless it’s cleaned.

What you see on Expedia listing is NOT what you’re getting! The photos are of the owners home. He has four barking dogs to greet you on his property. He made me wait 20 minutes to “prepare” the place/room. The space downstairs is large but unkept. The owner or whoever lives there personal items are everywhere in the common areas. No jacuzzi. No parking on the property. No shampoo or conditioner, and soap. The owner brought me a towel from upstairs which don’t know if it was laundered just like all the bedding. Blinds to the window didn’t work or are damaged so no privacy since the room is street level. Stained mattress and couch. Squished bugs left on walls and ceiling. Floors look like they haven’t been swept or mopped in months. Kitchen equipment are unclean or missing pieces. Refrigerator and freezer full of food. I could hear an elderly men moaning from room next door. No theme to rooms. Backyard had dog feces everywhere. Owner was rude and short for no reason. Seemed like people no showed him a lot because he seemed surprised by my arrival. Never sent any instructions or code. Took him 30 minutes to send me the code to the door. Expedia now can’t get ahold of him so I’m out money but I’m here to save you yours! Don’t book here! Not worth the terrible service and gross accommodations that is being falsely advertised.

Weird place

First of all I couldn't even get in. The reception was very rude over an intercom by the front door. Call them up from outside a child picks up, speaks unintelligible language and hangs up. On the booking says free parking Wich was on the street on a sketchy neighborhood. I was riding a motorcycle and couldn't trust leaving it out on the street. Anyways the place looks very weird. I have to give up on staying. So I'm looking for refund.

No instructions given on how to enter our room, incorrect contact information, horrible communication. Paid for two nights, did not stay a single night and was refused help or refund from both owner and Expedia, got our car broken into and all of our belongings stolen. All together worst travel experience thanks to booking here.

Oasis of Green

If you're looking for simple and inexpensive accommodations, this is the place! From the time you arrive at the property to the moment you walk through the door, the property is covered in green! The indoor plants give the space a rather comfortable and somewhat tropical feel. The human host is kind and laidback and the four-legged hosts are amazing as well!
