I have no complaints about the staff, they were all nice. The hotel's location is far from the center; however, a bus stop provides connections, and a shuttle bus takes you to the terminal for the express. Ontario has a useful Presto card, which can be added directly to your Google Wallet and used on trains, buses, and subways—like an Oyster card for those from the UK, or a travel card that can be topped up. The current express rate from Pearson to Union Station is CAD 9.25, taking 23 minutes; traveling by bus and subway to the center cost CAD 3.20 and took just over an hour.
Regarding my room, the king-size bed was comfortable and clean, the bathroom looked modern and classic, and the water pressure was great. The bathtub/shower combo was good, but the shower head was not detachable, only vertically adjustable. There were a couple of permanent stains on the carpet and a couple of small holes in the door and wall near the entry. The air conditioner did not adequately cool the room; however, opening a window seemed to let in cool air. I am unsure how warm it gets in the summer. I was annoyed that the curtains in my room could not fully close, leaving a small gap.
