From the moment I opened the door towards the lobby, I knew it has been a bad decision to book and PAY online, specially because money wasn't refundable (almost $100) I understand that it is an only 1 or maybe 2 star travel hotel, but still, the minimum that you expect is good service and to be clean. And this is how ot went: opend the door, first thing you'll see is vending machines out of service in an abandoned condition, facing the parking lot. At the lobby a loud cellphone playing a movie and sitting on a chair, facing the back wall of the reception, a person (sorry, couldn't tell if a male or female, don't know which pronoun to use), that didn't e even turned around to see who was at the front desk, so I decided to say HI, she/he calmly paused the movie, turn around and look at me while resting his/her back comfortably against the back of the chair and one arm on the desk, calmly without any effort says to me
WHAT'S UP, I was like on this is how this is going to be. I had to explain that I was there because I had a reservation and it was already paid for, then, stands up, burdened by having to go to the front desk. Then that person insisted in giving my CC which I didn't, it was shady.
For the room; corridor very filthy, room door was ajar, not closed, the bed, after exhaustive inspection had clean sheets. The rest was filthy, I wasn't even able to think about taking a shower there. And breakfast? At rhis point, no thx. I left some pics for all to see. BAD PLACE.
