We met friends from out of town to celebrate birthdays/holidays both families stayed 5 days. Staff were exceptional all week. However, hotel is in need of maintenance. Rooms need deep cleaning, carpets are stained, beds are old, bathroom walls need wiped down stains on walls, you don't want your clothes to touch the walls in the restrooms because they look nasty. Our friends room had damage from a pet who had stayed previously & tore up the bed corner, night stand, & their carpet was very dirty. Our frist room had a leak under the sink mid stay & we moved next door, these rooms need updates, the room smoke alarm was not in order & in the closet. Breakfast was good very average but kept up well. Hot tub & pool needs proper cleaning & pool chemical levels checked often & maintained daily. My husband got a skin infection from the hot tub, a bunch of red bumps. There was a older man who was completely inappropriate in pool area our first night staff addressed him & took care of it. The staff are wonderful but are working really hard because the building is in need of maintenance. This is close to stores, it has great food places, great indoor pool area but they need to do better at maintaining it. This could really be a great hotel. Our first room was missing Coffee maker & hair dryer the staff had no idea, so glad we told them. I wouldn't go back unless this gets updated. It's too bad because the in-door pool area is really cool.
