Had to find a place to stay after our flight was delayed and then canceled. After a long day at the airport we arrived at Hilton Homewood Suites Phoenix/Chandler to a staff member who made the comment, “Let me check if we have any rooms available.” I had already made the reservations thru Hotels.com and was a little surprised to hear her comment. She also was a bit rude when we checked out early because we got an earlier flight to our destination. I did not expect any money back for leaving early and she made sure that I understood that!
The room was older looking but clean except for the sticky kitchen table and remote control. The bathroom sink hot and cold handles didn’t move, the whole piece moved in order to turn on and off which caused water to come out from under them. The caulking around the bath tub and toilet was coming loose.
The breakfast was great!
