New management just took over a week or two ago and this place needs it. The carpets on the third floor look like somebody left a mud trail down the middle and dropped the rest of the mud in front of the elevator. The second floor isn't much better. I wasn't able to turn off the shower in the morning in the first room I was in, but they were kind enough to move me to a new room.
The people at the front counter are wearing hoodies and skull caps and barely can be understood. The carpets behind the counter look like the result of a flood. Not sure how long ago it was, but it looks like it's been there a while. The breakfast is bare minimum and I mean less than you would find over at a Holiday inn Express or La Quinta next door, etc. I put the oatmeal out they were too lazy to do it themselves. There were problems on the elevators, the washer and dryer were out of service in the laundry facilities - even though I was told they were okay when I called ahead for my 2 week stay. The little guest trays that hold small soap and shampoo samples in the bathrooms were absolutely filthy - and they never got cleaned while I was here.
They changed their service policies in the middle of my stay where they were not servicing the room on a daily basis. You have to call for a daily turnover. Nobody let us know. The next several days, service was requested, but they never cleaned the room or changed the towels. Talked to management but nothing got done.
