My first concern was the big oudoor sign was missing. I was very disappointed when I walked in. It had a terrible smell to the building. You could see they were trying to cosmetically update, but it had a very dirty look to the floors and the walls. Our room was ok, the beds were clean, and fresh sheets. The couch was very work and cushions were old and not intact. The bathroom was not very clean and the shower had black hair slapped against the side of the shower walls. We were excited for the hot tub and pool. When we walked in the pool area it was dim and had a bad smell of urine or just old water smell. The hot tub jets barely moved the water and the temp was Luke warm. There were chunks of hair and floating around in it and ended up sitting on my grandsons arm. They tried the pool but that too had hair floating and the water temp was frigid. It was so disappointing. We left the pool area as soon as we could and showered and left the building to find something else to do since we could not talk advantage of the pool area. It was truly disgusting. The breakfast was nice, but the owner/manager thought he had to hover over all the customers eating. He would take away our plates, give us candy, and then put the review sign in front of the customers to give them a review. They had a tip container out for tips. If I could have found another hotel room available, I would have left the minute I walked in. I paid $190 for a very low end hotel and was extremely disappointed.
