On our second evening the toilet was clogged. I went to the front desk to tell LETTY the receptionist about it. She took a plastic bag from her drawer, went to a side closet, put a wet plunger in the bag and try to handed it to me SO I CAN GO TO FIX THE TOILET MYSELF…
I told her “NO, there is no way that I’m going to plunge the toilet myself”, “how dare you trying to get the PAYING customer to go fix the toilet in the middle of the night”
I was furious, I told LETTY no way I’m doing that, she mumble “I’m not doing it” so I told her, since you are not doing it, why do you think it ok for you to ask me the paying customer to do it, that’s just ridiculous, at this moment a coworker or manager stepped in and apologized for the situation that it was not their intentions to offend me. But the stupid smirk of LETTY during the whole interaction told me different. She (LETTY) even try to blame ME about the toilet being clogged when she told her coworker o manager in SPANISH “it’s because they put so much toilet paper in the toilet”… you have not seen the toilet, you were not there, you don’t know anything about me… how dare you… I’m sure she didn’t know that I’m fluent Spanish speaker because when I told her in Spanish no to be blaming me for things she doesn’t know is when her coworker or manager stepped in and started to apologize
I find it INCREÍBLE DISRESPECTFUL to ask the customer to go plunge the toilet in the middle of the nigh.
We will never be back to this hotel
