Used to be great, now.....?
We used to love the Rise Uptown, but over the past few years we've seen it really decline in service and hospitality, not to mention cost. First of all, don't accept a room on the 3rd floor, you will most certainly hear load stomping all night from the rooftop bar. Next, the cold water faucet on the sink did not work at all, only hot water (if it worked). Third, the hot water, was non-existent unless you let the shower run for upwards of 10 min flat, and I'm being serious, hopefully you are not in a hurry to get ready after your sleepless night. Lastly, let's discuss the $75/chair fee for your pool side afternoon. Seems they sold off the pool and bar area to an outside vendor who now rents out the chairs/loungers to anyone in town that wants to pay to play. Will definitely find other options next time in town. Very sorry to see this place slowly decline. Maybe it was a bit telling to overhear others complaining in the lobby when I went in.
