I contacted the property to see if I could book a same-day reservation after a rough experience elsewhere. For future travelers, I’d recommend using Hotels.com for last-minute bookings—it’s just easier. Because I booked directly, I had to check out the next morning, check back in, and leave a second security deposit. If I’d extended my stay through Hotels.com, it probably would’ve been seamless.
Now for the fun part: this hotel has a lazy river! It’s not heated, so winter might not be ideal, but it’s still a charming surprise. My room was spacious, and every staff member I met was warm and welcoming. The young man working in the hotel’s shop was especially friendly—so much so that I ended up buying a bigger suitcase from him.
Food options in the area are limited late at night, and any delivery has to be dropped off at the front desk for security reasons. The hotel’s vending machines, especially drink choices, could use an upgrade, but that’s a small gripe compared to everything else.
I also noticed the housekeeping team doing incredibly thorough work—moving furniture, checking corners, and really giving each room a deep clean.
Overall, this hotel has great potential to grow as a fun, inclusive, resort-style stay. I’m genuinely looking forward to returning many more times.
