This hotel is undergoing long-overdue renovations. The afternoon desk clerk all but ignored us when we asked for a room that was as far away from the construction and ice machine. The new room toilet overflowed at 5 in the morning. I went to the front desk, and the receptionist was very helpful and friendly, offering us a new room immediately. I explained that if we could have some new towels, we could move later in the morning. We spoke to the daytime desk clerk, and she got us a new room in just a couple of minutes and was very understanding and wanted to know if there was anything else she could do for us. I asked if someone could clear out the batch tub drain, as it would not drain when we took a shower that morning.
