We checked into this room on Wednesday the 26th. Our check-in process was aggravating as the front desk attendants do not speak good English. We had already paid for the trip in advance, as this hotel has good reviews for reasons I cannot understand, so we did not want to forfeit our Reservation based on the check-in process. I am hard of hearing and have a service animal that alerts me to noise. I asked for a hearing impaired enabled room, they do not have those at this property. He issued me a key, but after I made him aware that I would have a service animal with me as I always make any hotel aware, so that they do not try and stick me with a bill and consider her a pet, he took my key back and put me in a “pets only room “. I protested, and he insisted that they do not put animals in any other rooms. Once we checked into the room, I could see that these rooms are not taken care of very well. It seems that they have been painted 100 times, the floors are hard floors, so they collect every bit of debris and dust, and we’re not clean. The bottoms of our bare feet were black after walking around in the room for a little bit. there was actually kitty litter behind the television stand. The room was so far to the other end of the property by the outer doors that the Wi-Fi was not working on the TV for most of the time that we were there. Further than that, after checking the room for bedbugs as we always do, we still encountered bedbugs.
