Arrived very late due to a long drive. Staff were friendly and received room keys. Walked into room and noticed a strange musky odor. Before I jumped into bed I decided to remove sheets and just check the overall cleanliness. I lifted sheets and mattress cover and immediately noticed bedbugs and a huge stain (urine/body/who knows) covering the mattress. I went to the other bed and conducted same check and same issues were found. Nasty! Grabbed my kid and bags and went directly to the lobby to discuss with staff.
I received an apology and was issued another room, Obviously, I was hesitant to even stay there but I just drove 10 hours and I was exhausted. I hoped for the best and went to the next room. The same smell / odor hit us as soon as we walked in (has to be mold or urine), I checked both beds and didn’t find any bedbugs, but the urine/body stains were on both mattresses.We were so exhausted I decided to pull all covers/sheets and place them on one bed and ended up sleeping there for the duration.
The couch was atrocious as well. Looked like white stains on the cushions and body flakes covering the rest. Pulled up the cushions and food particles and whatever else on the floor. Not good.
For $350+ a night this was by far the most atrocious hotel I’ve stayed at. This company should be disappointed and should issue a refund. Nasty! Negative 5 stars.
