My stay was completely unacceptable. The room was filthy — the TV had gunk that was smeared on it, the walls were dirty, the back of the bathroom door was black with grime, and there was a chunk of the wall missing under the sink to the right that looked like they had a leak and tried to fix it a long time ago. The faucet knob came off when you turned the shower on, and the final straw was water was seeping up through the tile floor in front of the sink when stepped on. I called the front desk and it was “ok”, I’m going to have a talk with the housekeepers.
Had it not been so late, I would have left immediately. I left my number with the front desk for the General Manager to call me because the front desk clerk said he would be in at 10:30 when I asked to speak to someone when I checked out — I never received a call. When I followed up, the front desk clerk said that she spoke with him and to call the manager on Monday. To me, this is absolutely not acceptable customer service or satisfaction.
